The Wound Care Education Institute® (WCEI®) provides comprehensive training programs at locations throughout the U.S. in the fields of Skin and Wound Management, Diabetic Wound Management and Ostomy Management. Most courses are also made available in a self-paced computer-based module. CERTIFICATIONS: Upon successful completion of a course, eligible medical professionals can complete an on-site exam offered by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy® to achieve board certification in Wound Care (WCC®), Diabetic Wound Management (DWC®), Ostomy Management Specialist℠ (OMS), or Nutrition Wound Care (NWCC™). Eligible medical professionals include RN, LPN, LVN, PT, PTA, OT, NP, PA, MD, DM, DO, RD and RDN.
