Write.as is a writing and digital publishing tool for getting your thoughts down quickly, no matter where you are. The moment you open the app, you see nothing but a blank space waiting for your words, whether it's your first time, or your 127th. We've removed all distractions and pared down the editor so you can focus only on your words and the thoughts in your mind. Besides a nurturing space to put keystrokes to digital paper, Write.as is built to keep you private by default. That means that anything you write is automatically kept from prying eyes (even ours) first. If you decide to publish on our platform, your true identity stays private, as we don't track you or force you to sign up. If you want to go further still and create a blog, we encourage using a pen name, and make it effortless to publish across many lightweight blogs for different identities and writing contexts (think personal and professional; relevant and off-topic). Above all, we're an independent company building a model for other long-term web services to emulate. We stand for software that respects users, works (and makes money) the way normal people expect it to, and enables everyone to express themselves on the web.
